Completely redesigned by the firm, the challenge of the project was to bring light into the place. The linearity of the board was broken by an innovative combination of levels. Raised spaces and others graphically partitioned create a fascinating visual dynamic. Its immaculate white allows the light brought by the high openings to be reflected, accentuated by the oblique planes of the volumes. The entrance has been intelligently designed to maximize storage and circulation within the volume. The living room is hollowed out in the center of the living room, its low ceiling accentuating the intimacy of this space. In the center, on a platform, a video lounge with studied ergonomics is included in a lounge volume. Continuing on is the kitchen, whose custom-made island marks its function. The lacquered black of the kitchen, the white walls as well as the original parquet floor painted in white epoxy resin unify the entire space and are precious allies of brightness, a real challenge of the project. The sleeping area comprising two of the three bedrooms is located on one of the lengths of the loft. Connected by a desk, these two rooms are sculpted in an 'iceberg' volume whose facets direct the overhead light through slots in the ceilings. A suspended staircase leads to the third bedroom which is located above the living room. In the bathroom, the bathtub takes its place in the center of the room and the sink counter is backed by a wall behind which hides a large walk-in shower accessible from both sides. A cellar of 11 m² offers additional storage space.
