Completely renovated by the ANB ARCHITECTES firm, this unexpected duplex with the appearance of a secret loft offers, thanks to the intelligent use of its volumes and its through light, a life in fluidity and transparency. Its two-level plan is organized around an aerial staircase which subtly lets light circulate. Materials with contemporary lines offer a modern and elegant space warmed by a solid oak floor. The first level serves the sleeping area made up of two bedrooms: one currently used as an office with its line of custom-made oak cupboards, and the other in the cottage, overlooking the garden. They share a bathroom with gray tones softened by a wooden vanity unit. Supported by a clever openwork piece of furniture, the staircase leads further down to the living space treated as an open space. On one side, cement tiles demarcate the kitchen area with a masculine design, adorned with a Zimbabwe granite worktop. Adjoining, a scullery adds comfort to the whole. Further on, the lounge area is built around a gas insert fireplace framed by niches. The room opens through large black aluminum windows onto the exterior with an ipe terrace lined with southern species. At the back of the courtyard, an outbuilding using the same codes accommodates a bedroom and its bathroom. A cellar completes this property.
