Redesigned in 2006 by architects, the house has been modernized without compromising its beautiful authenticity. The garden level has been completely opened up to create a living room with a very generous volume, unified by a set of sober and effective false ceilings. The kitchen has been intelligently proportioned in a drowned stained oak to fit seamlessly into the space. The openings and the delicate bow window, facing south, reveal the superb wooden terrace, making the exterior a natural extension of the residence. The space is increased tenfold. Outside, fig trees, plane trees, olive trees and agaves provide the decor. The swimming pool also benefits from the open view. Inside, the double-sided cassette fire crackles between the living room and a more intimate room suitable for housing a library, musical instruments or office. A metal staircase, an aesthetic echo of the IPN of the entrance, guides you towards the upper floors. Three bedrooms, a large bathroom, an office and a living room extend over two levels, one of which is enveloped by the beautiful frame of the building. In the master suite with a small private balcony, an old double door reveals a spacious bathroom while a separate dressing room takes place further on. Two independent studios, each with a private garden, accommodate friends or tenants. A closed garage houses bicycles and cars.
